Residence Permit (Residence Permit) Guide in Turkey

Foreigners who wish to stay in Turkey for a long period of time must obtain a residence permit (residence permit). The residence permit is issued by the Directorate of Migration Management and is based on certain criteria. One of the most common methods for obtaining a residence permit in Turkey is to purchase or long term rent a property.

During the application process, foreigners must submit documents such as a valid passport, a statement of address, health insurance and proof of income. For foreigners who purchase real estate, a residence permit can be issued for 1 to 2 years and can be renewed under certain conditions. In addition, investors who purchase a property worth USD 400,000 and above may also have the right to apply for Turkish citizenship directly. In the residence permit process, it is of great importance to prepare all documents completely and follow the official procedures.
