Property Buying Guide

Property Buying Guide in Turkey

There are several important stages to consider when buying property in Turkey. Firstly, buyers need to determine the region and type of property they wish to invest in. Regions such as Alanya, Gazipaşa and Antalya offer popular options for both living and investment.

During the purchase process, it is of great importance to examine the official documents of the property such as title deed, mortgage status and zoning permit. In addition, an expertise report is mandatory for foreign investors. The sale process is completed at the Land Registry and Cadastre Directorate and the buyer must pay the taxes set for the title deed transfer. Especially for foreigners, citizenship application or residence permit advantages can also be evaluated during the property purchase process. Getting professional consultancy contributes to the smooth progress of the process.
